Playwright.
Screenwriter.
World Builder.
I endeavor to create characters and stories that require vulnerability, authenticity, and emotional awareness for the stage and screen.
Hi, I’m Darrin.
As an award-winning playwright and screenwriter, I explore the complexities of the human experience in new and relevant ways.
From following protagonists on their quest for elusive answers to navigating the struggles of flawed characters seeking truth, I am dedicated to shaping stories that inspire.

In those early days of the pandemic lockdown, I was in desperate need to create. I opened the Final Draft software on my Mac and eyed the welcome screen, staring at the templates, when something remarkable happened.
I started to write a play.

“Darrin's stories are imbued with compassion and empathy. As his mentor, it is heartening and inspiring to work with him and watch him evolve as an artist with a distinct, engaging voice. He explores characters who are fragile, vulnerable, yet fiercely strong. We root for them and identify with their struggles. Darrin is a powerful storyteller.”
